  1. Before I read the book, I watched the movie. I thought the movie and book would be the same. The more I read and got into the book the more I realized they are different. Toward the end of the book I had a pretty good feeling that Anna would give Kate a kidney and everything would be fine. It caught me by surprise when the author killed Anna. I seriously cried while reading it. If I were the author I would have probably made Kate die, because everyone was already expecting it. I loved the book, by far better then the movie.

    1. I watched the movie before the book also. It is very different. I was also surprised when Anna died instead of Kate.

    2. I was shocked that the author killed Anna. I was expecting Kate to die in the end. At least the author didn't kill both of the daughters.

    3. That's true. Even Kate just wanted to die. She had already accepted it and didn't want to keep living her life in pain.

  2. really enjoyed this book. I think the part I liked the most was that it seemed realistic. Anna moved me shes a typical teenager, with her sisters life in her hands. Some books that I've read are kind of pathetic. Even if it was a sad story it was still thrilling. I didn't dislike any of it. I wouldn't change anything about the story. I think it has a really strong message.

    1. That is true, I never really read a book that was that realistic. Some books are all lets end happily ever after when in real life that doesn't happen.

    3. I agree. I'm surprised that Anna could have so much bravery even though she was a teenager.

  3. I liked the book until the ending, it made me mad. I think Kate should of gotten her wish to die. It did move me when the doctors said she wasn't strong enough for the transplant and she actually was and lived longer then expected. If I could change anything I would change how Campbell thought that he was week because he didn't want people to know the real reason for Judge. I'm just glad that they didn't kill both sisters off in the book, that would of been messed up. I think I would also change on how people saw Jesse, they should of been there for him too and not just focus on Kate and Anna. I'm glad I finally read this book or else I wouldn't see the real version of the story.

    2. Yeah! I wish Campbell would have just realized that either way Julia would have loved him.

  4. I liked the book. It is a very inspirational book. I probably would have changed the way that Sara treated her other kids. She could have at least showed them that she did care. In reality though I know this would be very hard to go through and I can't imagine going through it myself. It was good though how in the end everybody was there for everybody. Most families wouldn't be able to go through this and not be a corrupted family.
