Why did Kate ask Anna to sue for medical emancipation? Was Anna right to listen to her wishes? Write one well developed paragraph. Grammar and spelling counts! Then respond to at least one of your classmates' posts.
Kate didn't just ask for Anna to get medical emancipation. Kate wanted to live without goin through surgery after surgery. If that meant dying then Kate was fine with that because you can't live in a hospital bed all your life. Anna was right to listen to Kate. Anna deserved to live her own life and make her own choices. She couldn't really do so because Kate was always in need of something.
Kate asked Anna to sue for emancipation because she did not want Anna to have to transplant, and because she believes that she will die anyway. I think so because it helped her mother to realize she went too far on help Kate. It is very smart of Kate to help her sister out like that even though she didn't want to sue them. Anna wouldn't get to play the sports she loves. And Kate probably wouldn't of made it through the surgery.
Kate didn't ask Anna to sue for medical emancipation. Kate just wanted Anna to be happy. It got to the point that Anna just helped too much. The end turned out wrong. I think in the end the parents finally realized how much pain they were trying to keep Kate away from but ended up putting Anna through.
Kate knew that she wasnt going to make it very far in life, so she wants Anna to be able to enjoy her life instead of ruining her body for someone who isnt going to make it very long.
Kate knew that she was always going to be having trouble so she wanted Anna to have the best the she could have. Kate didnt want anna to have to be giving up her body parts to keep her going because she knew that Anna didnt like doing it.

ReplyDeleteWhy can't everything just be happy in the end? Haha. I think they both knew something bad was going to happen, they just didn't know what.
