Each character in My Sister's Keeper seems trapped in their own kind of loneliness. Choose two characters and discuss their loneliness. Why are they so lonely? What does it remind you of? How can they cure it?
Jesse and Anna, They are pretty much neglected by their parents. It reminds me that parents will do anything to help their child in a time of need. Anna and Jesse need to stick together and help each other out.
Jesse and Anna seem to be the two characters that are very lonely. They both come second to Kate. Everything is ALWAYS about Kate. Their mom doesn't even realize that she does this until someone brings it to her attention, but still she doesn't care because Kate is her one and only. Jesse's and Kate's situation reminds me of a personal event. Jesse does a lot of things to get attention and one of my friends used to do that too except for in a few different ways. Anna is just standing up for what she believes in. She has the right to make her own choices especially when if comes to her body. Jesse and Anna are in the same boat and I believe that if they stick together they can get through anything.
Jesse is lonely but i don't think he care about it though bc he could be doing his own thing. Anna could do the same thing go off and hang out with people you don't know.

Jesse just kind of get ignored all around. Their parents only care about Kate and what she needs and it is not right. I bet if they asked who their parents favorite is it would be Kate. I mean don't get me wrong Kate does need special attention but not all the attention.
Anna is lonely because her parents are always caring for her sister. she could just try and forget about them. it doesnt really remind me of anything. i think jesse is lonely also but he can handle it. hes does drugs and smokes and stuff so that probobly makes he feel better.
i think jesse is lonley because he never gets any attintion. he just hanges out in hi s room all alone every day. alos anna is lonely.she feels bad because she cant make up her own choices. i think they are both over looked becayuse of kates sickness. katre being sick is bad but they have two other children they need to quite forgetting about.

Jesse is basically left all alone because nobody pays attention to him. He does what he wants and gets in trouble alot. Their parents have 2 other kids. Not just Kate.

The only time they get any attention is when they are hurt or they cause some trouble to get their attention.

i think the first one is brian because hes always working and him and his wife cant even go out on a date without his wife worrying about somethings going to happen to kate and i think Jesse because hes always felt like an outsider because of kate has all the attention and he tries to get attention by breaking the law
