  1. By the cover of the book it looks sad and haas two girls that i initially thought that they might be sisters or very good friends.
1.) When i started to read the first chapter i was very amazed of the sadness that this book was going to be.
2.) It is very sad that when ever the one sister get sick and is taken to the doctor the other sister also has to go because the other sister provides her with the stuff she needs to be alive.
3.)To be the mother of these two daughters and a son that is always on his own, would be very depressing.
I think that this book is very intresting and is a good book to read because it shows a life lesson.

  2. By reading the first chapter it made me wonder what I would do in Anna's situation. I think that if I was made specifically to save someones life I would feel as if I had a true purpose to live.

    1. But what if in the end you couldn't save them? Would you feel like your purpose in life was wrong?

    2. Yes very true. Just knowing the fact that I was born to save my sister is a huge meaning in life and a lot of responsibility.

  3. I don't know if I would be able to do that for my sister. I mean I love her and would hate to see her in pain, but I don't think I would want to be in pain everytime she would. I would be mad at my family for making me do all that.

    1. Well this is true also i agree in some stuff but I would feel great having to save my sister and not let her die. but also i agree that it would be hard and you wouldnt have no life just be saving your sister.

  4. I think I wouldn't be able to do something like this for my siblings. I mean you love them but can you really love them if your parents just tell you that you are born for your sisters life (I hope this sentence makes sense )

  9. When I first started reading it i thought does she even have a life being a normal girl? Why do her parents care more about her sister then her or her brother? And why would her sister not tell her mom that she was in pain?

  10. I wouldn't ever want to live a life like that. It seems like everything she has is being taken away. i wouldn't like that at all. She is a very smart girl.

  12. Excellent thoughts. I feel bad for both girls, too, Caleb. I can't imagine having a sick child, or one of you being terminally ill. There's something super heartbreaking about a child not reaching adulthood.
